What we do with your details.

KJ only receives what you send us on WhatsApp or over the phone — your name, your number, your address and whatever you tell us about the job, including any photos.

We use it to quote your job, do your job and invoice your job. That's it.

We don't sell it, share it or add you to a mailing list. Ask us to delete it and we delete it.

The detail

Who is responsible. KJ — Killer Jobs, Handyman Services, Johannesburg, South Africa, is the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect. Your name, phone number, the address of the job, photos and descriptions you send us, and the quotes, job cards and invoices we create for you.

Why we collect it. To price the work, schedule it, carry it out, invoice it and honour our 6-month workmanship guarantee.

Who sees it. The KJ crew working on your job. We only pass details to someone else when the job needs it — for example a supplier delivering materials to your address — or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it. Quotes that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Job and invoice records are kept for 5 years because tax law requires it, then deleted.

This website. The site has no forms that store your information and no accounts. The "Get a price" builder runs entirely in your browser and opens WhatsApp with your message — nothing you type is sent to or stored by this website. If analytics is enabled, it counts page visits without identifying you.

Your rights. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. If you're not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
